Notes

  1. 1 ↩Normalized reading takes abbreviated/corrupt 'Reptila anim: viventis' as Vulgate-style 'Reptilia animae viventis' (Gen 1:20).
  2. 2 ↩Corrupt surface 'ei cele' is taken as intended 'et cete' (Gen 1:21 great sea creatures / whales), coordinating with 'et volucres pennatas'.
  3. 3 ↩Source multiphncarent read as multiplicarent (OCR/corruption); purpose clause continues et benedixisti eis from the previous section.
  4. 4 ↩Source Gea. read as Gen. (Genesis), matching the citation pattern of the previous section (Gen. i. 20).
  5. 5 ↩ASCENSORIA is a section rubric (neuter plural of ascensorius): prayers/devotions of the Ascension. Rendered as a modern heading, not a full sentence.
  6. 6 ↩The clause is syntactically incomplete (ends with a comma) and continues into the next section's petition (Domine, miserere).
