Notes

  1. 1 ↩Source is heavily corrupt: «Ὁ Domine, salvum fae, N3 "1p t1.» Read as the traditional royal petition «O Domine, salvum fac regem» (cf. Vulgate Ps 19:10 / Eng. Ps 20:9), fitting the preceding rubric «Pro Rege:» and the following petition for counselors.
  2. 2 ↩Reading zequitate as aequitate (OCR of ae ligature). Continues the Pro… construction of the previous petition.
  3. 3 ↩Source breaks mid-phrase: sive im. is taken as sive in, completed by s3–s4 (Academiis… Scholis).
  4. 4 ↩Reading sve as sive. Fragment continues s2 and leads into Scholis in s4.
  5. 5 ↩Reading setate as aetate. Ut marks the petition’s purpose clause for the rising generation in schools and universities.
  6. 6 ↩Reading przbent as praebent. Mid-line 1 is a footnote callout (see s8), not the numeral ‘one’. Parallel at PrecesPriv.1.42.1 supports Pro iis qui beneficos se praebent res sacras, erga pauperes; Pro iis is supplied as the most plausible litany frame.
  7. 7 ↩Reading Animz as Animae and h:ereditent as haereditent (OCR of ae).
  8. 8 ↩Source unit is only a footnote marker answering the callout 1 in s5; no footnote body is recoverable in the supplied text.
  9. 9 ↩Reading szeterna as aeterna (eternal); the printed form looks like a long-s/æ OCR corruption.
  10. 10 ↩Normalized from corrupt surfaces: beneficüs→beneficiis; quz→quae. Reading taken as Pro beneficiis quae nobis largiti sunt in terris, continuing the petition for benefactors from the previous section.
