In honor of Mary, the Virgin, visiting Elizabeth, let us worship the Lord. Alleluia. Let us now adore the Lord Jesus, whom the virgin womb has borne above the mountains, for he has loved us. Alleluia. How glorious and wonderful God has made His humble servant throughout all the earth! Alleluia. The heavens marvel at Mary, to whom so many unique gifts have been given. Alleluia. The fertile land of the Lord is the womb of the sacred Virgin, which bears the treasure of our humanity in the likeness of God. Alleluia. Arise, my beautiful friend. For the winter has passed, the rain is gone, and it has receded; alleluia. Listen, daughter, and see; incline your ear. Behold, my beloved speaks to me. Within my heart, He gives His voice: Alleluia. How sweet are your words to my taste, O Lord, sweeter than honey to my mouth. I will go to the mountain of myrrh quickly, and I will see this word. What was done in my ears by the angel who greeted me is alleluia. I ran along the path of your commandments, for you have set my heart free. The good word, the virgin who remains untouched by any of the sea's fertility, alleluia. The river of the sacred stream brings joy to the city of God while Mary, by the power of the divine, magnifies the Lord with her mouth. Alleluia. O beloved city of God, we ask you who know you, pray for us to God. Alleluia. Look, here he comes, leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills. My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Alleluia. He rejoiced like a giant eager to run the path from the highest heaven. Blessed are the mothers, but their children are even more blessed. And those who have borne blessed deeds are also blessed. Alleluia. Blessed is the house, blessed is the family; who has seen such wonders? O brilliant star of the sea, singular virgin mother, you visited your relative John and illuminated him with your most excellent offspring. We beseech you on this feast to be our comfort in every sorrow, to deliver us from death, and to grant us a share in the heavenly homeland. Alleluia. To you, all cry out, O holy source of hope, unfailing fountain. O day to be remembered with every vow! O day to be revered with every effort! In which so many joys have shone upon the wretched world, alleluia. This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. The Lord of heaven has done great wonders in the daughter He has chosen for Himself from the earth and the sea; nonetheless, He has accomplished them remarkably. Alleluia. Let the earth rejoice, and may many islands be glad; behold, the cloud has filled the heavens with the dew of the Holy Spirit. Alleluia. We sing a new song to you, O Virgin, so that through you we may have the Bread of Life, Alleluia. Beautiful daughters gather riches. The mother of the Lord transcends the treasure of a pregnant womb; alleluia, alleluia. Rejoice and praise, O dwelling of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst. Mary said, "He who is mighty has done great things for me." And holy is His name. Alleluia. And His mercy is from generation to generation for those who fear Him. My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. For he has looked upon the humility of his servant; alleluia. For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed. O venerable Mother of Christ, be a support to the needy. Come to the aid of your adored Son's offspring in their distress. To you, we sigh, O most excellent leader of our cause. We devote ourselves to you, asking that you grant us the joys of life. Through today's ascent, lead us to the heights. Lead us to the eternal kingdom through a commendable life. That we may be freed from the burden of the world and the scarcity of the flesh. May we rejoice in your most illustrious offspring, O Virgin. He has taken Israel, His servant, remembering His mercy. As He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and his seed, forever. Alleluia. The Lord swore to David the truth: 'From the fruit of your womb, I will set upon your throne.'^✦
