Ad Nonam

Ad Nonam

Hail Mary. . . God, make haste to help me. Lord, hurry to help me. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Alleluia. Hymn: Remember the author of salvation. That which you took on from our former body, born of the immaculate virgin. Mary, Mother of grace, Mother of mercy, protect us from the enemy, and receive us at the hour of our death. Glory to you, Lord, who was born of the virgin, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever. Amen. Ant: You are beautiful. Psalm 125: When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouths were filled with laughter, and our tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, 'The Lord has done great things for them.' The Lord has done great things for us, and we rejoiced. Restore our fortunes, Lord, like the streams in the Negev. Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy. Going out, they weep, carrying the seed to sow; returning, they come back with shouts of joy, carrying their sheaves. Those who come back will come with joy, carrying their sheaves. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Psalm 126: Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up before dawn, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep. Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in His ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; you will be blessed, and it will go well for you. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house. Your children will be like olive shoots around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord. May the Lord bless you from Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life. And may you see your children's children. Peace be upon Israel. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be: world without end. Amen. Antiphon: You are beautiful and lovely, O daughter of Jerusalem, terrible as an army set in battle array. Chapter (Ecclesiasticus 24): In the streets, I gave off the fragrance of cinnamon and aromatic balsam; like chosen myrrh, I offered sweetness of scent. Thanks be to God. After giving birth, you remained a virgin. Mother of God, intercede for us. Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Lord, hear my prayer. Let my cry come to you. Lord, we ask you to forgive the sins of your servants: that we who cannot please you through our actions may be saved by the intercession of the mother of your Son, our Lord. Through the same Lord Jesus Christ, your Son: who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen. Lord, hear my prayer. And let my cry come to you. Let us bless the Lord. Thanks be to God. May the souls of the faithful, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Ave Maria. . .

Deus in adiutorium meum intende.

Domine ad adiuvandum me festina.

Gloria Patri, et Filio: et Spiritui sancto. Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper: et in saecula saeculorum, Amen. Alleluia.

Hymnus: Memento salutis auctor. Quod nostri quondam corporis, Ex illibata virgine Nascendo, formam sumpseris. Maria mater gratiae, Mater misericordiae, Tu nos ab hoste protege, Et hora mortis suscipe. Gloria tibi Domine, Qui natus es de virgine, Cum patre, et sancto spiritu, In sempiterna saecula. Amen.

Ant: Pulchra es.

Psalmus 125: In convertendo Dominum captivitatem Sion: facti sumus sicut consolati. Magnificavit Dominus facere nobiscum: facti sumus laetantes. Converte Domine captivitatem nostram: sicut torrens in austro.

Deo gratias.

Post partum virgo inviolata permansisti.

Dei genitrix intercede pro nobis. Kyrie eleison. Christe eleison. Kyrie eleison.

Domine exaudi orationem meam.

Amen.

Domine exaudi orationem meam.

Et clamor meus ad te veniat.

Benedicamus Domino.

Deo gratias.

Fidelium animae per misericordiam Dei requiescant in pace.

Amen.
