Ad Laudes

Ad Laudes

Hail Mary. . . God, make haste to help me. Lord, hurry to help me. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Alleluia. Ant: She has been assumed into heaven. Psalm 92: The Lord reigns; He is clothed with majesty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and He has girded Himself. Indeed, He has established the world, so it shall never be moved. Your throne is prepared from of old: You are from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O Lord; the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves: from the voices of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high. Your testimonies are very sure: holiness befits Your house, O Lord, forever. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Ant: Mary has been taken up into heaven; the angels rejoice, praising and blessing the Lord. Ant: Mary is a virgin. Psalm 99: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; serve the Lord with gladness. Come into His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who made us, and we are His. His people, and the sheep of His pasture, enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Praise His name, for the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Ant: The Virgin Mary was taken up to the heavenly chamber, where the King of kings sits on a starry throne. Antiphon: In the fragrance. Psalm 62: O God, my God, I watch for you in the light. My soul thirsts for you; my flesh longs for you in a dry and weary land. In a desolate, dry land, I have appeared to you in the holy place, so that I may see your power and glory. For your mercy is better than life; my lips will praise you. Thus I will bless you as long as I live; and in your name, I will lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips. When I remember you upon my bed, I meditate on you in the watches of the night; for you have been my help. And in the shadow of your wings, I will rejoice; my soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me. They sought my soul in vain; they will go down to the depths of the earth. They will be handed over to the sword; their bodies will become food for foxes. The king will rejoice in God; all who swear by him will praise him, for the mouths of those who speak unjustly will be stopped. Psalm 66: May God be gracious to us and bless us; may he make his face shine upon us and be merciful to us. That we may know your way on earth, your salvation among all nations. Let the peoples confess to you, O God; let all the peoples confess to you. Let the nations be glad and rejoice, for you judge the peoples with equity; you guide the nations upon earth. Let the peoples confess to you, O God; let all the peoples confess to you: the earth has given its fruit. May God bless us, our God, may God bless us: and let all the ends of the earth fear him. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Ant: We run to the fragrance of your ointments; the young women have loved you greatly. Ant: Blessed are you, daughter. Bless the Lord, all you works of the Lord: praise and exalt Him forever. Bless the angels of the Lord: bless the heavens, bless the Lord. Bless all waters that are above the heavens: bless all the powers of the Lord. Bless the sun and the moon: bless the stars of heaven. Bless the rain and the dew: bless all the spirits of God. Bless the fire and the heat: bless the cold and the frost. Bless the dew and the frost: bless the cold and the snow. Bless the ice and the snow: bless the nights and the days. Bless the light and the darkness, O Lord: bless the lightning and the clouds, O Lord. Let the earth bless the Lord: let it praise and exalt Him forever. Bless the mountains and hills, O Lord: bless all that grows on the earth, O Lord. Bless the springs, O Lord: bless the seas and rivers, O Lord. Bless the sea creatures and all that moves in the waters, O Lord: bless all the birds of the sky, O Lord. Bless all the beasts and cattle, O Lord: bless the children of men, O Lord. Let Israel bless the Lord: let it praise and exalt Him forever. Bless the priests of the Lord, O Lord: bless the servants of the Lord, O Lord. Bless the spirits and souls of the righteous to the Lord: bless, you saints and humble of heart, to the Lord. Bless Anania, Azaria, and Misael to the Lord: praise and exalt him forever. Let us bless the Father and the Son with the Holy Spirit: let us praise and exalt him forever. Blessed are you, Lord, in the firmament of heaven: and praised, and glorious, and exalted forever. Here, 'Glory' is not said, nor 'Amen.' Ant: Blessed are you, daughter, by the Lord, because through you we have shared in the fruit of life. Ant: You are beautiful. Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights. Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts. Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars. Praise Him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens. For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm. He established them forever and ever; He gave a decree that will never pass away. Praise the Lord from the earth, you sea monsters and all ocean depths. Fire, hail, snow, and mist; stormy winds that do His bidding. Mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, Beasts and all livestock, creeping things and birds of the air. Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all judges of the earth. Young men and maidens, old men along with young ones, let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted. His praise is above heaven and earth, and He will exalt the horn of His people. A hymn for all His saints, for the children of Israel, for the people drawing near to Him. Psalm 149: Sing to the Lord a new song; let his praise be heard in the assembly of the saints. Let Israel rejoice in its Maker; let the daughters of Zion be glad in their King. Let them praise his name with dancing; let them sing praises to him with tambourine and harp. For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. The saints will rejoice in glory; they will be glad in their beds. Let the exaltations of God be in their throats, and let two-edged swords be in their hands. To execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples. To bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron. Let them carry out the judgment written in them: this glory is for all His saints. Praise the Lord in His holy ones; praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty deeds; praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the lute and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals; praise Him upon the high-sounding cymbals: let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Ant: You are beautiful and lovely, daughter of Jerusalem, terrible as an army set in battle array.

Deus in adiutorium meum intende.

Ant: Assumpta est.

Psalmus 92: Dominus regnavit, decore indutus est: indutus est Dominus fortitudinem, et praecinxit se. Etenim firmavit orbem terrae: qui non commovebitur. Parata sedes tua ex tunc: a saeculo tu es. Elevaverunt flumina Domine: elevaverunt flumina vocem suam. Elevaverunt flumina fluctus suos: a vocibus aquarum multarum. Mirabiles elationes maris: mirabilis in altis Dominus. Testimonia tua credibilia facta sunt nimis: domum tuam decet sanctitudo Domine, in longitudine dierum.

Gloria Patri, et Filio: et Spiritui sancto. Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper: et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

Ant: Assumpta est Maria in caelum: gaudent Angeli, laudantes benedicunt Dominum.

Ant: Maria virgo.

Psalmus 99: Iubilate Deo omnis terra: servite Domino in laetitia.

Sic memor fui tui super stratum meum, in matutinis meditabor in te: quia fuisti adiutor meus. Et in velamento alarum tuarum exultabo, adhaesit anima mea post te: me suscepit dextera tua.

Ipsi vero in vanum quaesierunt animam meam, introibunt in inferiora terrae: tradentur in manus gladii, partes vulpium erunt. Rex vero laetabitur in Deo, laudabitur omnes, qui iurant in eo: quia obstructum est os loquentium iniqua.

Psalmus 66: Deus misereatur nostri, et benedicat nobis: illuminet vultum suum super nos, et misereatur nostri. Ut cognoscamus in terra viam tuam: in omnibus gentibus salutare tuum. Confiteantur tibi populi Deus: confiteantur tibi populi omnes. Laetentur, et exultent gentes, quoniam iudicas populos in aequitate: et gentes in terra dirigis. Confiteantur tibi populi Deus, confiteantur tibi populi omnes: terra dedit fructum suum. Benedicat nos Deus, Deus noster, benedicat nos Deus: et metuant eum omnes fines terrae.

Gloria Patri, et Filio: et Spiritui sancto. Sicut erat in principio, et nunc, et semper: et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

Laudate eum in cymbalis bene sonantibus, laudate eum in cymbalis iubilationis: omnis spiritus laudet Dominum.
