Chapter 57LiVM.5.57

LXXII. Quae magisier cavere debeat.

LXXII. Quae magisier cavere debeat.

But a teacher who falls into malicious injury against good and just subordinates is like a wolf; he is condemned for stoning Stephen by the Jews. And he who afflicts the innocent and the holy, and thus takes away their good works through unjust plunder, is called a wolf; and he who has fellowship with the wicked and the delinquent by pretending not to see their wrongdoing is called a thief; therefore, let him be corrected by the faithful, lest he scatter the flock of the Lord. A good teacher should keep a watchful eye on his wayward students during the day and provide good care at night; he should praise those who work well with music from a harp and rejoice with the good and best students.
