LXXX. De eodem.
LXXX. De eodem.
This sin is indeed shameful and wicked, and it has risen up in man through a diabolical art, just as death has come upon man in case A. For man entered when he withdrew from God. God created man for great honor and a glorious name; but the deceiver led him astray, and man accepted the counsel of the deceiver, thus losing the knowledge of all the voices of the creatures that they express in their breathing sound. This sin is the desire of the Devil's heart; from this, he persuades people to change their natural use into bestial behavior and to commit shameful acts against themselves, because of the first hatred he had toward the woman's fertility, which he still pursues, so that she may not give birth; instead, he prefers that people remain in opposition to themselves. And because God willed that the human race be procreated from a woman, it is a great sin for a man to lead his seed into confusion by committing the same sin.
