God, against whose wrath no one can stand, and under whom those who bear burdens are bent down. His sense is such. God, who created all things and in whose power all things exist, is so great and powerful in His judgments that no strength can be found in angels or humans that can withstand His examination, when He reveals His vengeance against wrongdoers with just judgment. For the wrath of God is the only thing that always opposes the evil of iniquity, and it has no connection with evil, but rather completely overcomes it, just as it did with the angel and with man. For God has established His judgments in such a way that He offers justice to iniquity and correction to the guilty; this is where a sinner is justified through repentance, namely when he judges himself while repenting, when he places himself on the cross of repentance, and when he wounds himself with tears, confessing his sins to God through the priest; because the high priest, namely the Son of God, offered Himself on the cross, where He wiped away many sins of humanity with His poured-out blood. No one can resist God in this way, because He alone is God and the only just judge, discerning all things justly and arranging everything well. They are subject to His commands, who possess this virtue from Him, as they carry the world, namely that circle in which the universe exists, doing so according to both the order and the design of God. These are the sun and the moon, along with the other planets and stars, which, with their fiery force, sustain the wheel of the world, and they draw in the waters and drink them, so that the same world doesn’t wither in their heat; but in the same way, it shines through the water. These also frequently serve the judgments of God, because they are with humans in their service, and they feel their actions, nor do they act otherwise than what is commanded to them. These things, however, are arranged by the supreme Creator in such a way that He orders and disposes all things according to what is rightly suited and well-ordered for each individual. But whoever has a desire for life should take these words to heart and let them resonate in the inner chamber of the heart. <) these A, W. or these? — deadly iid. — Job. Lucifer is the Lord, and there is no other. And they demonstrate pride to people, and they persuade them to think of themselves as better than others.

Deus qui omnia creavit, et in cujus potestate omnia sunt, talis et tantus in fortitudine judiciorum suorum est, quod nec in angelis, nec in hominibus ulla fortitudo invenitur, quae resistere examinationi ipsius valeat, cum vindictam suam contra delinquentes justo judicio denudat.
Nam ira Dei hoc solum est, quod ipsa malo iniquitatis semper repugnat, et quod conjunctionem cum malo non habet, sed quod illud perfecte prosternit, quemadmodum illud in angelo et in homine prosternebat.
Deus enim hoc modo judicia sua constituit, quod iniquitati justitiam ac delinquentibus correptionem proponit; quod ibi est, ubi peccator per poenitentiam justificatur, scilicet cum poenitendo se ipsum dijudicat, et cum in cruce poenitentiae se ponit, et cum lacrimis se vulnerat, peccata sua Deo per sacerdotem confitendo; quia summus sacerdos, videlicet Dei Fiiius, in crucem se obtulit, ubi multa peccata hominum per efTusum sanguinem suum abstersit.
Deo namque resistere in hac similitudine nullus poterit, quoniam ipse solus Deus et solus justus judex est, omnia juste dijudicans, et omnia bene disponons.
Praeceptis enim ipsius subjugati sunt, qui hanc virtutem ab ipso habent, quod ferunt orbem, scilicet circulum illum in quo mundus subsistit, quod et secundum dispositionem et secundum constitutionem Dei faciunt.
Hi autem sunt sol et luna, ac reliqui planetae, et stellae cum caeteris sideribus, qui in ardenti vi sua rotam orbis sustinent, et qui aquas sibi attrahunt, et illas bibunt, ne in ardore ipsorum idem orbis arescat; sed et eodem modo per aquam lucet.
Isti quoque judiciis Dei frequenter famulantur, quia in famulatu suo cum hominibus sunt, et actus eorum sentiunt, nec aliter faciunt quam quod eis praecipituf.
Haec vero omnia a summo Creatore sic ordinata sunt, qui omnia ordinat et disponit, secundum quod unicuique bene ordinata et bene discreta dispositio competit.
