I don't want to obey either God or man. I don't want to obey either God or man. If I were to obey someone else, who looked only to his own benefit and commanded me to act without considering my own good, he would say to me: "Yield." This will not be. For if anyone has done me harm, I will repay them a hundredfold, and I will arrange my case in such a way that no one dares to oppose me. For I want to lie under no one's feet.
