God, however, knows the number of all things. For there are many and various secrets in God, which He reveals as He sees fit, but only in part and according to His own will. For He alone knows all things, who also holds them together; and He preserves what He has made, because everything is according to the arrangement of His grace: this is confirmed by the present vision you see.

Deus autem numerum omnium scit.
Nam plurima et plurima secreta in Deo sunt, quae nuUi revelat ut sunt, sed ex parte et secundum quod sibi placuerit, et jsecundum quod voluerit.
Ipse enim solus omnia novit, qui etiam ea continet; et conservat quae fecit, quoniam in omnibus secundum dispositionem gratiae suae est: quod et visio praesens quam vides, testatur.
