The Baptism of Duke Zpuytignev
Moved by divine grace, the Bohemian duke Zpuytignev receives baptism under King Heinrich and, filled with newfound zeal, builds churches dedicated to the blessed Virgin and the apostle Peter, where miracles later abound.
Since indeed from the very inhabitants of the land the name Doemia sounds imposed upon the region, to which, when the most renowned king Heinrich of happy memory was already reigning, a certain man of that tribe, more distinguished by descent and more eminent in power among the citizens, Zpuytignev by name, administering the rule of the principality under the king's dominion, touched by the sweet vow of divine worship, yearning not a little to be reborn through the mystery of the sacred font, is cleansed by baptism, and burning with new zeal, he built houses of God for the worthy veneration of his most blessed mother Mary and of the holy prince of the apostles, in which afterward innumerable miracles shone forth yearly with divine aid cooperating.

Quoniam quidem ab ipsis terrae incolis Doemia regioni vocabulum sonat impositum, cui iam regnante felicis memoriae praeclarissimo rege Heinrico, quidam gentis illius progenie clarior ac potentia, in cives eminentior, Zpuytignev nomine, principatus regimen sub regis dominatu impendens, divini cultus dulci voto attactus, sacri fontis mysterio regenerari non parum anhelans, baptismo mundatur, et novo studio fervens, domos dei ad beatissimae eius genitricis Mariae sanctique apostolorum principis memorandam veneracionem construxit, in quibus postmodum innumera annuatim miracula ope divina cooperante fulserunt.
