A Prayer for Patient Endurance
The believer asks for the grace to imitate Christ's patience in carrying their own cross.
My most loving Jesus, I embrace all the tribulations you’ve destined for me until death.1 I beg you, by the merit of the pain you suffered in carrying the cross, to help me carry mine with perfect patience and resignation.✦
An Act of Loving Repentance
The believer expresses deep love, contrition, and a desire for permanent union with Jesus.
I love you, my Jesus, more than myself; with all my heart I repent of having offended you. Forgive me, and don't allow me to separate myself from you. Grant that I may always love you, and then do with me as you please.

Ti adoriamo, o Cristo, e ti benediciamo, perché con la tua santa Croce hai redento il mondo.
Considera come Gesù Cristo camminando in questo viaggio con la croce sulle spalle pensava a te e offriva per te a Dio la morte che andava a patire. – Amabilissimo Gesù mio, io abbraccio tutte le tribolazioni che mi hai destinato fino alla morte. Ti prego per il merito della pena che soffristi nel portare la croce di aiutarmi a portare la mia con perfetta pazienza e rassegnazione.
Io ti amo, Gesù mio, più di me stesso, mi pento con tutto il cuore di averti offeso. Perdonami e non permettere che mi separi da te. Fa’ che sempre ti ami e poi disponi di me come ti piace.
