A captive Lethowinus vows wax to God for liberation, and his chains break and prison door opens so he escapes.
At this time, a certain Lethowinus from Erogel, captured by his king, had been in prison at the suggestion of a certain Ruthenian who was held there with him, and had vowed to God a certain weight of wax for his liberation; immediately the chains by which he were bound were broken, the door of the prison opened, and he escaped.

Hoc tempore quidam Lethowinus deErogel captus a rege suo, dum ad suggestionem cujusdam Rutheni, qui cum eo in carcere fuitc, vovissetd deo certum pondus cere pro liberacione sua, statim catene, quibus ligatus fuit, sunt confracte et janua carceris aperta et evasit.
