The Cancellation of the Debt
Christ descends to humanity to tear up the record of our debts and restore us to his grace.
Wishing to offer grace for ancient debts, the One who cancels every human debt came himself to those who had wandered far from his grace; and by tearing up the legal bond, he hears from everyone: Alleluia.1
Notes
- 1 ↩χρεωλύτης is rendered as 'the One who cancels the debt,' preserving the debt-release image that pairs with χειρόγραφον rather than flattening it to a generic 'Redeemer.'

Never lose the rhythm again
Chosen Portion delivers your morning, midday and night office to your phone — the Hours, without the bells.
Chosen Portion is a modern Book of Hours: it turns the fixed-hour structure this collection preserves into scheduled, tappable daily prayer on your phone.
- Three daily prayer moments scheduled around your real calendar, not a monastery's
- Psalms and historic prayers sequenced for you — no page-flipping or decision fatigue
- A visible streak of completed offices, so the rhythm compounds instead of collapsing
