Notes
- 1 ↩Recommendatos is the usual private-prayer term for people specially recommended or committed to one's intercession; rendered as 'those recommended to our prayers.'
- 2 ↩Christianum continues the preceding phrase omnem Populum (all the people) as the accusative adjective Christianum, i.e. 'all the Christian people.' Rendered as a natural English completion of that list fragment rather than the bare adjective 'Christian.'
- 3 ↩Source reads Dommum; translated as Dominum (the Lord), the only plausible intended form in this Sursum corda formula.
- 4 ↩Normalized reading treats garbled Greek 'ΤῸ' before 'adorare' as Latin 'Te' (accusative), matching the parallel case pattern of the neighboring infinitives (Tui/Te/Tibi).
- 5 ↩Normalized corrupt forms: Vitze → Vitae (life); sternorum → aeternorum (eternal). Sense is secure; surface forms look like OCR/print corruption.
- 6 ↩Source reads 'et Coh Colorum,'. In context after 'Quem laudant Coeli' and before 'Quem Angeli, et omnes Coeli Potestates', the most plausible intended Latin is 'et Chori Coelorum' (and the choirs of heaven). Less likely but possible: 'et Coeli Coelorum' (and the heaven of heavens).
