Scripture echoes
- ↩Matt.3.16;Mark.1.10;Luke.3.22;John.1.32 — And when Jesus had been baptized, he immediately went up from the water. And behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming upon him. Mark.1.10 — And immediately, as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit, like a dove, descending to him. Luke.3.22 — and the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, the Beloved; in you I am well pleased." John.1.32 — And John testified, saying, 'I have seen the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it remained on him.'
- ↩John.20.19-John.20.22 — On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you." John.20.20 — And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. So the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. John.20.21 — So Jesus said to them again, 'Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.' John.20.22 — And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit."

John.20.20 — And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. So the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord. John.20.21 — So Jesus said to them again, 'Peace be with you. - ↩John.16.8 — And when he comes, that one will convict the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness and concerning judgment.
- ↩John.14.26 — But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and remind you of everything that I have told you.
- ↩Rom.5.5 — And hope does not put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
- ↩Rom.8.26 — In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.

Notes
- 1 ↩Habitus here is a heading parallel to Columba/Umbra for a mode of the Spirit’s appearing; rendered ‘Form’ to match in habitu Christi in s6 (outward form/guise), not ‘habit’ as dress or settled disposition.
- 2 ↩Source spelling Lingue ignee is a non-classical form of Linguae igneae.
- 3 ↩Citation token Z4cf is corrupt or heavily abbreviated; rendered as Acts 4 cf. from sense and neighboring Acts references (congregatos in oratione ≈ Acts 4:31).
- 4 ↩Super + accusative in this Adventus invisibilis outline marks the Spirit’s coming upon a person or group; 4c is retained as a source citation code.
- 5 ↩XII is taken as the Twelve Apostles; Super again marks the Spirit’s coming upon them.
- 6 ↩Ephesios is accusative plural; in this outline it may continue the Super pattern (upon the Ephesians). 'cf.' is retained as the printed cross-reference cue.
- 7 ↩subinde = repeatedly / from time to time; per vices = by turns / in successive stages. Rendered as a schematic heading, not a full sentence.
- 8 ↩Latin l. taken as Roman numeral 50 in this index-style context; if it is only a letter-marker L, retain L. instead.
- 9 ↩Avocatio = a calling-off / diversion away from; here, divine drawing of the soul off from sin.
- 10 ↩Supplied text is In vocatione (locative/prepositional). Neighboring Invocatione and the parallel ablatives Avocatione / Evocatione / Revocatione make Invocatione (by invocation / by calling in) a plausible intended reading.
- 11 ↩Evocatio e mundo = calling forth out of the world; detachment from worldly life, not annihilation of creation.
- 12 ↩recidiva = falling back (into sin); Revocatio = a calling-back / recall from that relapse.
- 13 ↩Surface form 'Exijos' does not yield a secure Latin or Greek lemma in this outline series (nearby terms are -κλησις prayer/call words). Reading preserved without emendation.
- 14 ↩Ἀνάκλησις: calling back / recalling (technical prayer/call term, anaclesis).
- 15 ↩Ἐπανάκλησις: a renewed or repeated recalling (epanaclesis).
- 16 ↩Latin Invocatione (ablative list-heading) paired with Greek Ἔπίκλησις (epiclesis, calling upon).
- 17 ↩Latin Advocatione paired with Greek Παράκλησις. Παράκλησις ranges over comfort, exhortation, and advocacy; with Advocatione the advocacy/calling-to-one's-side sense is primary, without excluding comfort.
- 18 ↩Source reads '1, Gratiarum, Divisio4 2.'; most plausible intended sense is the 1 Cor 12 outline head 'Gratiarum divisio' (division of graces), with a stray '4' and the following item number '2.' glued on.
- 19 ↩Source reads '4—90.'; in context of 1 Cor. xii and the gratiarum/ministrationum/operationum triad, the intended verse range is almost certainly 4–6.
- 20 ↩Reading 'Unetio' as 'Unctio' (anointing); 'Unetio' is not a Latin form and is a near-certain typo/OCR corruption.
- 21 ↩Reading 'n.' as chapter 'ii.' / '2.' of 1 John; lone 'n.' is not a coherent chapter marker and fits OCR confusion of 'ii' with 'n', especially before verse 20 (1 John 2:20).
