The Deception of Lust
The demon of sexual immorality seeks to discourage the ascetic by creating vivid, defiling mental images of the acts it tempts them to commit.
The demon of sexual immorality compels a person to desire all kinds of bodies. It attacks those who practice self-control even more fiercely, so that they will give up, thinking their efforts are getting them nowhere. As it defiles the soul, it bends the mind toward those acts, causing it to speak certain words and hear them in reply, as though the act itself were actually visible and present.
