Chapter 53OrdV.1.53
Discretio
Discretion's Luminous Stewardship
Discretion declares herself the light and steward of all creatures, the impartiality of God lost by Adam's wanton conduct.
I am Discretion, the light and steward of all creatures, the impartiality of God, which Adam drove from himself through reckless living.1
Read the original Latin
Ego Discretio sum lux et dispensatrix omnium creaturarum, indifferentia dei, quam Adam a se fugavit per lasciviam morum.
Notes
- 1 ↩Latin 'indifferentia dei' rendered as 'the impartiality of God'; the term carries the sense of God's freedom from partial or disordered attachment, which Adam forfeited.
