The Dawn of Loving Justice
The red globe and sapphire circle signify God's zeal rising in the east, where divine power executes judgment through the fairness of love.
But the fact that toward the east, above the roundness of the earth mentioned earlier, you see at a certain height a red globe surrounded by a circle of sapphire color means this: the zeal of God in his power, shown with the justice of love, rises in the eastern region — designating the dawning of justice, surpassing human understanding, and standing firm in the height of heavenly secrets — since although God is powerful enough to carry out his judgments, he nevertheless completes them through the fairness of love.
Wings of Heavenly and Earthly Care
The two pairs of wings represent God's dual protection, guarding heavenly heights through inspiration and earthly realms through the embrace of true love.
From its right and left sides, two wings extend on both sides. One of these stretches upward into the heights, so that both wings at their summit curve back to face one another — because in prosperity as in adversity, divine protection shows itself for the safeguarding of humanity through both gentle inspiration and harsh correction, enclosing within the height of his majesty the things that through him reach toward higher things, preserving them. The other wing, by contrast, descends on both sides from those same parts downward to the middle of the roundness of the earth mentioned earlier, so that those same wings wrap around and cover that middle roundness outside the firmament — since just as the upper defense protects those things that are in the heavens, so also that lower one guards those that exist in the lower regions, but it bends toward the fullness of people's good will, and places that roundness in the embrace of true love.
The Arch of Vengeance
The red arch in the western region signifies God's vengeance against those who reject true faith and good works.
And what you see stretching like a red arch through the circle around the outer region of the west — this signifies the reach of God's vengeance against those who stand outside the integrity of true faith and the bounds of good works.

Sed quod versus orientem supra praefatam terrae rotunditatem in quadam altitudine vides globum rubeum circulo sapphirini coloris circumdatum, hoc est quod in plaga orientis ortum justitiae designantis, humanum intellectum supergrediens, et in altitudine coelestium secretorum consistens, zelus Dei in potentia ipsius cum justitia charitatis ostenditur, quoniam cum Deus potens sit judicia sua perficere, ea tamen per aequitatem charitatis complet.
