The Scholar's Answer: Exclusive Worship and Prayer
The Scholar explains that hallowing God's name means rejecting all false gods and idols, acknowledging the Father and Jesus Christ alone, and praying to him with sincerity and pure life.
Scholar. I'll show you. We do that when, leaving aside all those who bear the name of gods—whether in heaven or on earth, or worshipped in temples in various shapes and images—we acknowledge him alone as our Father: pray to the true God and to Jesus Christ, his only Son, whom he has sent; and by pure, sincere prayer call on him alone, with uprightness of life and innocence.1

Scholer. I shall shewe you, then we do that, when leauing all those that haue the name of gods, be thei in hea uen or in earthe, or worshipped in temples, in dyuerse shapes and images, wee acknowledge him alone oure father: Prai to the true god, and Iesus Christ hys onlye sonne, whome he hath sent: and by pure vnfained praier call vpon him alone, wyth vprightnes of life and innocencye.
