Partitio Anti-Tami-Cami-Categoriae (Epigr. IV)
Common Ground in Controversy
The author identifies the three themes of his opponent's work, noting that while they agree on matters of faith and piety, they remain divided on the interpretation of sacred rites.
I see three parts to your Anti-Category, Scot-Briton, so that I might use the material more clearly: one is set against sacred rites; another praises the authors; the third is full of God. Regarding the last two, we both feel the same; I myself praise the holy ones, and I myself worship the Divine. Only the first part suffers its own battles and disputes. It is a good thing that we occupy this uncertain ground!
