Joye V
Joy of the Shepherds' Visit
A prayer for protection from the devil's snares, recalling the joy of the shepherds' finding of the Christ Child, and closing with the Hail Mary.
O Mary, protect me from deceit and from the ambushes of the cunning enemy, by the joy you felt when the shepherds found you and your blessed, dear Son. Hail Mary.
