No power can act in love without the distinction between lover and beloved.

Concord Through Love
Only love can bring the lover and beloved into concord; power alone cannot.

The Irresistible Power of Love
Love's power is unstoppable, yet power that cannot begin from love or bring peace is unworthy of love.
viii. Nothing can oppose a power that does whatever it wills through love. Intention: Love 7. ix. A power that cannot begin to love from love should be neither loved nor praised.2 x. A power that cannot bring peace between the lover and the beloved does not stand in the middle place of love.3
Degrees of Love's Power
Greater power of love makes a greater lover, equal power in lover and beloved perfects love, and great love overcomes little love.
